Mom passed away this morning at 7 am. She had been hospitalized for a week and then came home with Hospice last Thursday (9-6-07). She was surrounded by family members continuously while she was at home.
We are going tomorrow to plan her memorial. She will be cremated as per her wishes. DH will be flying here on Tuesday.
Thank you everyone for your messages of love and support during this extremely difficult time.
She is no longer imprisoned in a body that failed her, she is no longer suffering. I am thankful for that.

I lost my grandpa to cancer too I know it doesnt compare but I know how much it hurts and i hate to think you might be hurting that way
