Thinking of switching

I am considering switching to Wordpress or Typepad. I like the layout of both.

Anyone have any pearls of wisdom or want to sway me to one or the other?

Peace.

Hmmmm. How about - Wordpress is free but Typepad isn't? I know that if you use the Wordpress.com service, and you want to have increased control over your template, you do have to pay for an upgrade to fiddle with the CSS, but there are plenty of built in themes available without that. I host my own Wordpress installation, which means I have complete control over it. I don't have any direct experience with Typepad, but the Basic account is $49.50 per year - still no custom CSS, and you're limited to a single blog.

I have a wordpress blog as well as my blogger but I don't use it. I still prefer Blogger to any of the others.

Out of the two tho, Wordpress would be the better bet from what I've seen. You could always open one and have a play without closing your blogger blog until you've decided which you prefer.

Missy,
I haven't heard to much about Typepad. I have heard lots about Word press. Here is a link to join a google group called Word Press Friends. They are really good about helping with all your questions when it comes to Word Press set up and any other questions you may have. Let me know how it works out.
