I have been waiting to see what the results of the Iowa Caucuses were...everyone was reporting that it was a virtual dead heat between Barack and Hillary.
According to this site, Barack got 37.5 percent of the vote and Hillary got 29.4 percent.
WooHoo!!!!!!
It is a good day to be a Democrat. Now we just have to see what happens in New Hampshire.
I am so glad that I will be able to vote in November. Registering to vote will be one of the first things I do when we get to Juneau.
I can't believe that it has been over a year since I first blogged about Barack Obama. I still think that he is the bee's knees of politicians.
Go donkeys!
In other news, I should have pictures and fun stuff to report later this weekend. Melissa is joining Deece & I for our knitting session tomorrow! Yay!
Namaste.

That's what my "Woot!" was about! If I couldn't have Gore or Clark, Obama has my vote and I'm so excited to see that the mostly white, red state of Iowa apparently agrees with you that he is the man!
Did you catch Michael Moore's letter this morning? He does make a disturbing point about the amount of health care lobby money Obama has accepted, but overall his message is "Thank you for at least letting us believe that we are better than what we often seem to be."
This is going to be SUCH an interesting campaign.
The leanings in NH appear to be towards Ron Paul :-) Who knows though! There are a lot of Republicans up here (sigh)
Although I like Barack a lot, I think he needs more experience, but he's definitely up there. I was hoping Hillary could pull it off as she's so darn smart and seems to know everything. Too bad she couldn't pull off the universal healthcare plan back in the early 90s.
My 21 yr old son just rented Sicko, so I am proud of him for taking an interest in things like that.
I also wanted to let you know I added you to my blogroll and that my calcifications were benign (found out on 12/7).
I'm not into politics, but I am into the wiggles. Here is a utube, better watch it yourself before Conner see's it. The Wiggles are majorly addictive.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lY0l35iha0c&NR=1
Erdene does want to try knitting and cross stitch and I've seen the patterns, tools around here, but we need to wean the pmpkn off the lap. Needles and baby don't work well together. Do you do your stuff on an elevated chair. Conner looks great. Take care, Mark&Erdene.
Thanks for the recommendation on the book PS I Love You. I actually have it and started to read it before the move. It's still packed in one of the many boxes I have. :)
