Family Friday

Oh, NaBloPoMo...you are cramping my style. I am used to not blogging every single mo fo-ing day. Arrrgghhh!

Tuesday was DH's birthday. He is one year closer to being "old". Lucky bastard (said in the most loving way possible) has a few more years before he is even 30. Yes, I am a cradle robber (I was 3-0 this year).

He wanted to go to the beach on Tuesday, so to the beach we went. Wing beach, more specifically.

Pictures? Okey dokey!

It was such a gorgeous day. Perfect for a birthday!

In other news, only just over 3 weeks before MIL arrives!!! Eeep! We are so excited! I can't wait to see a friendly face and to have her see Connor and how much he has changed since September. She will be here until just after Christmas : ( I wish she could stay until May or June, but no such luck.

Not much else to report. I am going to meet up with a blogging friend tomorrow for a cup o'joe and some fiber craftiness, I can't hardly wait! Plus she just celebrated a birthday as well. It seems that I am surrounded by youngsters. Gosh, I feel old.

I dug out the Christmas CD's today and played one for Connor. He is so cute, he sways side to side on his hands and knees while music is playing, like he is dancing. He also bounces up and down when on his knees. He likes "Rocking Around the Christmas Tree" by Brenda Lee and "All I Want For Christmas" by Kenny Chesney so far. I hope that he ends up loving "Santa Baby" by Eartha Kitt as much as I do.

One more week until I can drag out all of our Christmas crap decorations. Yay! My favorite time of year for the House of Grinch. We will do the House of Grinch proud this year. Er, or maybe we did it proud last year with our Grinchy-ness.

Enough babbling. The Riesling is going to my head.

Peace.

I would love to have little Amara on the beach with Connor. Cute little guy and I can feel the warm sand between my toes already. Well, its a stretch from here, but the thought is there.
